Comilla Victorians captain Tamim Iqbal elected to bowl first against Rangpur Riders at the Shere Bangla National Stadium. The two sides played a thrilling fixture on November 18 at the same venue, where Comilla triumphed by 14 runs.

Comilla made only one change to their side from the previous game against Dhaka Dynamites, leaving out Dwayne Bravo in favour of the 16-year-old Afghanistan offspinner Mujeeb Zadran, who claimed a five-for against Pakistan Under-19 in the final of the U-19 Asia Cup in Kuala Lumpur last month. Rangpur went in with three changes – they brought in Chamara Kapugedera, Isuru Udana and Sohag Gazi in place of Samiullah Shenwari, Rubel Hossain and Lasith Malinga.
