ICC takes action against Scotland batter Ailsa Lister after conduct breach

The International Cricket Council took disciplinary action against Scotland batter Ailsa Lister after her team’s Group B match against the West Indies on June 18 at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.

Scotland’s Ailsa Lister reprimanded by ICC after West Indies clash

On Saturday, June 20, the ICC has officially reprimanded the Scottish cricketer for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct. Along with the reprimand, one demerit point has also been added to Lister’s disciplinary record. This was her first offence in the 24-month period.

The ICC has confirmed that Lister was found to have breached Article 2.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an International Match.”
