The first-ever Lanka Premier League has got a green light, with the tournament set to begin on August 28 and go on till September 20. Five teams – Colombo, Kandy, Galle Dambulla and Jaffna – will be participating in the competition with a Sri Lanka Cricket release saying “over 70 international players and 10 coaches have confirmed their availability” for it.
