Ashton Agar, Joe Burns and Mitchell Marsh are among those who have been handed Cricket Australia contracts while Usman Khawaja has lost his deal.
As expected Marnus Labuschagne is in the new list while Kane Richardson and Matthew Wade have also been included among the changes.
Marcus Stoinis, who was the leading run-scorer in the BBL, has dropped out along with Peter Handscomb, Shaun Marsh, Marcus Harris and Nathan Coulter-Nile from the 2019-2020 group.
