Mathews, Chandimal to tour Pakistan as Sri Lanka name full-strength Test squad

Sri Lanka have named a full-strength Test squad for their upcoming tour of Pakistan in December 2019. Dimuth Karunaratne will lead with the side, with experienced batsmen Angelo Mathews and Dinesh Chandimal also in the 16-member squad. The team leaves for Pakistan on December 8, where they will play two Test matches that will count towards the ICC World Test Championship.

There’s only one change to the squad that played the 2nd Test against New Zealand in August. Kasun Rajitha, the right-arm fast bowler, has replaced legspinner Akila Dananjaya. Dananjaya is currently serving a one-year suspension over an illegal action.
