Scorecard

Queensland routed a shambolic Tasmania by an innings inside three days to vault to second on the Sheffield Shield table after a lopsided affair at Bellerive Oval.

The Tigers lasted a mere 95.5 overs spread across their two innings, and not a single batsman for them managed to get past 20 in the second innings as they were rounded up by the Bulls’ gleeful bowlers on the third afternoon after Tasmania resumed at 0 for 20.

Cameron Gannon and Peter George harvested three wickets each for Queensland, who face the table-topping Victoria at the Gabba in their final qualifying match of the competition.
