After Sri Lanka declared on their overnight score of 247 for 6, setting Zimbabwe a target of 412 in 98 overs, seamer Suranga Lakmal and offspinner Dilruwan Perera wrecked the hosts. Lakmal struck twice in three balls in the last over before lunch to have Hamilton Masakadza and Malcolm Waller lbw and leave Zimbabwe at 74 for 5. This came after Dilruwan struck twice in nine balls to remove Tino Mawoyo and Craig Ervine; they were out lbw too.
