Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir chose to bowl against Kings XI Punjab in Mohali. Gambhir said the pitch, which had a tinge of green, looked good and would hardly change during the match, and he was banking on his side’s ability to chase.
Both sides, coming off wins in their previous games, named unchanged sides. Kings XI captain David Miller, too, said he wanted to bowl.
Knight Riders, who won the last five matches between these two sides, are second on the points table with two wins. Kings XI, though, are last with their sole victory coming in the last game against Rising Pune Supergiants.
