Kohli, who is the current Indian Test skipper, took a selfie with his mother, and tweeted a tribute to her.
The dashing India batsman, who has been in the news recently for his rumoured break-up with Bollywood star Anushka Sharma, has been enjoying his off time after a hectic season of cricket.
Kohli was the star batsmen on the recent tour to Australia where India played five ODIs and three Twenty20s. Although India lost the ODIs 1-4, Kohli was the star with 381 runs at an average of 76.2 with two fifties and two hundreds. In the three-match Twenty20 series which India swept 3-0, Kohli topped the charts with 199 runs with three fifties.
India missed Kohli’s service during their five-wicket loss to Sri Lanka in the first Twenty20 international in Pune. The second match takes place on February 12 in Vizag.
