‘A good test for India’s spinners’
Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bowl first on a green-tinged surface in Pune. Dinesh Chandimal felt there may be some seam movement early in the game.
Seamer Kasun Rajitha and batsman Niroshan Dickwella debut for Sri Lanka. Dasun Shanaka is likely to bat in the top order and 24-year old Dushmantha Chameera takes over the lead fast bowler’s role.
Ajinkya Rahane assumes the top order position vacated by Virat Kohli, for India. The remainder of the XI that defeated Australia in India’s most recent T20 remains in place.
