Hong Kong defeated Scotland by nine wickets in a weather-affected first Twenty20 international at Mong Kok.
The match was delayed due to a wet ground and reduced to 10 overs per side when it did get under way, with George Munsey, Calum MacLeod and Matt Machan the only Scots to reach double figures after the tourists were asked to bat first.
They stuttered their way to 66 for seven, their cause not helped by three run outs.
Hong Kong polished off the victory target for the loss of just one wicket – that of opener Jamie Atkinson, but not before he had plundered 20 from just seven balls.
Anshy Rath and Babar Hayat got the hosts over the line from just 6.2 overs to go 1-0 up in the two-match T20 series.
Victory for Hong Kong by 9 wickets! Babar Hayat finishes it off with a six.
