India National Cricket Team star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant produced a hilarious yet freakish moment while batting on Day 4 of the second Test against the England National Cricket Team.
Day 4 of the second Test between India and England is currently underway at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Saturday, July 5.

Rishabh Pant sends the bat flying
Pant played an attacking brand of cricket in India’s second innings and smashed some terrific shots. The Indian Test vice-captain, in particular, targeted the English pacer Josh Tongue and hit him all over the park.
He decided to continue his assault on Josh Tongue during the 34th over, but he failed to do that and ended up producing a classic ‘Rishabh Pant’ moment.
On the fourth ball of the over, Tongue bowled a length delivery to Pant just outside off-stump, and the India wicketkeeper-batsman went for a wild smash across the line intending to hit a six.
However, Rishabh Pant was unable to make any connection with the ball; instead, he lost the grip of his bat and sent it flying towards the square leg region.
There were smiles all around the ground after Rishabh Pant’s bizarre move, and the reaction of the pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, who has been rested for the second Test, to the incident was absolute gold.
