Vaibhav Suryavanshi fails again vs Pakistan; Ayush Mhatre bags a duck in IND U19 vs PAK U19 clash

Another failure for Indian star Vaibhav Suryavanshi in a high-octane clash against Pakistan U19, as he gets dismissed within the powerplay. Skipper Ayush Mhatre disappointed further with a two-ball duck in the innings.

The India Under-19 team are clashing against the Pakistan Under-19 team in the Super 6 of the ongoing ICC Under-19 World Cup. While the dynamic batter Suryavanshi was India’s hope for a solid start, he could not deliver on this occasion as well.

India lost to Pakistan in the youth Asia Cup, and even then, Vaibhav Suryavanshi had failed to excel with the bat. They are on the verge of another collapse on this occasion as well. Mohammad Sayyam has been a constant threat to the Indian rising star.

Pakistan started off with their pace bowling pair, and Mohammad Sayyam took up the new ball alongside Ali Raza. As Suryavanshi delivered in the power play, Sayyam returned to bowl the 8th over of the Indian batting innings.

On the third ball of the over, he skied one delivery, and according to their reputation, the Pakistanis dropped the catch. Then they had a chance to run him out, as it was complete chaos in the middle. Huzaifa had missed the catch and the run-out opportunity as well.

However, the drama ended in the very next ball, as Pakistan pulled off a classic. Sayyam went short on this occasion as well, and Suryavanshi, who swivelled into a pull shot, gets a faint edge only to be caught by Hamza Zahoor diving to his right.

Ayush Mhatre, the Indian skipper, then came out on the pitch and was dismissed after facing 2 balls. India seemed near to another collapse with their two crucial heads back in the dugout.
