Prince Yadav was impressive against Afghanistan during the ODI series. The pacer who made headlines during the Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026) season with the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) first made his ODI debut against Afghanistan. Now, he is all set to play his first T20I match.
On the other side, the emerging all-rounder, Suryansh Shedge, who played some crucial knocks for the Punjab Kings and then for the India A team during the tri-nation ODI series in Sri Lanka, was named in the T20I team as a replacement for the injured seam bowling all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, earns his senior national cricket team debut cap.
Meanwhile, India won the toss, and the skipper Shreyas Iyer opted to bowl first. “Yeah, we’ve got two changes. Suryansh Shedge and Prince Yadav come in. Both are making their debut. So these are the two changes we’ve made,” Iyer informs at the toss.
