Rishabh Pant to return to Delhi Capitals ahead of IPL 2027

Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is all set for the homecoming after a disastrous stint with the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Pant failed both as captain and batter at the LSG and even lost his place in India’s white-ball setup.

Now, a fresh Times of India report suggests that Rishabh Pant is all set to completely part ways with the Lucknow Super Giants to return to Delhi Capitals (DC), where he began his IPL career and later became the captain.

The reports said, ‘Pant is very likely to return to Delhi Capitals’ after leaving the Lucknow Super Giants captaincy right after the team’s campaign ended at the bottom of the table. It was reported that a rift with the LSG team management led to Pant’s resignation. Also, Kuldeep Yadav is set to join LSG.
