The left-hander returned to his dangerous form with the bat in Uttar Pradesh’s Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 clash against Chandigarh in Rajkot on Friday, December 26. Rinku went on a scoring rampage, bringing up his century in just 56 balls and justifying his ICC T20 World Cup 2026 selection.

He remained unbeaten on 106* off 60 deliveries, completely taking the game away from the Chandigarh side. Rinku stitched an incredible 134-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Aryan Juyal (134 runs off 118 balls) to power Uttar Pradesh to a massive 367/4 in 50 overs.
