Pakistan announce T20 World Cup 2026 BOYCOTT threat if Bangladesh pull out after ICC’s rejection

Pakistan have continued to embitter their relationship with the ICC as they have constantly been supporting the unreasonable demands from the BCB. A major development has been reported on Pakistan’s plans for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

The Indo-Pak relations have always been constrained, but such has been Pakistan and Mohsin Naqvi’s desperation since the Asia Cup humiliation that they have left no stone unturned to cause a major fiasco in matters related to India and the BCCI.

The Pakistan controversy was fueled by the attacks on the Pahalgam valley, which resulted in India backing out of handshakes or any kind of friendly conduct with the neighboring opposition.

Despite this, they played thrice in the Asia Cup, but the major fiasco erupted with Suryakumar Yadav and co. denying to take the trophy from the hands of the ACC Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who is also the PCB Chief and is an internal minister in Pakistan.

Pakistan to boycott T20 World Cup in demand of justice for Bangladesh

The Champions of the ICC T20 World Cup 2009, Pakistan, have been stubborn on anti-BCCI issues in the recent past few months. As the BCB indulged in a major clash against the BCCI, the PCB has constantly been their silent supporters.

However, they have now come forward in the limelight and have also written an email to the ICC seeking justice for Bangladesh. The BCB has also been stubborn in not backing down from its demands, while the ICC has made it clear that no further changes are possible.

As per Geo News, Pakistan have once again cleared their stance that they would be withdrawing from the competition, if the ICC fails to meet the demands of the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
