Star all-rounder Deandra Dottin was seen being carried off the field, leaving her West Indies Women’s National Cricket Team teammates worried, as she is one of the team’s most experienced and important players.
The shocking moment happened only minutes before the start of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final between West Indies and Australia. Television cameras showed Dottin unable to walk on her own as several West Indies players helped carry her away from the ground.
She appeared to be in visible pain and discomfort. While the match has already gotten underway at The Oval, there is still no update yet on Dottin, what exactly happened, or how serious the problem is.
