Lehmann diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis

Australia’s coach Darren Lehmann’s immediate future is under a cloud after he was diagnosed with a deep vein thrombosis during the final ODI against India.

Lehmann was hospitalised after the condition was confirmed, after he had previously suffered it in 2007. The assistant coach Michael Di Venuto will take charge of the team during the Twenty20 series against India while Lehmann undergoes treatment.
