Three quick wickets on the second morning helped India trigger memories of Mumbai as England lost a considerable amount of ground at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. England had gone from 288 for 5 on day one to 400 all out in the fourth Test at the Wankhede Stadium; here, in what were probably better batting conditions, they went from 284 for 4 to 352 for 7 at lunch.
