According to a Cricket Australia statement, Healy is expected to be available for the upcoming T20 World Cup in South Africa in February. She will also remain with the squad during the series as she continues her rehabilitation.

Healy, who stood in as Australia captain during Meg Lanning’s absence on the tour to India, sat out of the fifth T20I in Mumbai after suffering a calf strain while batting in the fourth match. Healy was unable to bat again or field in that match, with Tahlia McGrath taking over as captain. Beth Mooney, who kept wicket in Healy’s absence in those two matches, will continue in the role for the upcoming series too.
Australia will play three ODIs against Pakistan in Brisbane on January 16, before the T20Is get underway in Sydney on January 24. The second T20I will take place in Hobart on January 26 and the final T20I is scheduled in Canberra on January 29.
Australia’s first match at the T20 World Cup is against New Zealand on February 12.
