Litton returns, Mahmudullah left out of Bangladesh's T20 World Cup squad

There was no place for Mahmudullah in Bangladesh’s 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup to be played in Australia in October-November. Mushfiqur Rahim also doesn’t figure in the line-up to be led by Shakib Al Hasan, having retired from the format recently.

Returning to the T20I scheme of things are Litton Das, Yasir Ali, Nurul Hasan, Hasan Mahmud and Najmul Hossain Shanto, while Parvez Hossain Emon, Anamul Haque, Mahedi Hasan and Mohammad Naim have been dropped. The same squad will be playing in the tri-series in New Zealand – featuring the hosts, and Bangladesh and Pakistan – just preceding the World Cup.
