England Women’s Academy claimed their fourth consecutive victory on their tour of Sri Lanka with an 87-run win over the hosts.
Emma Lamb struck 85 from the top of the order and Ellie Threlkeld made 58 as EWA posted 273 after full international Kate Cross opted to bat.
Sophie Ecclestone then returned fine figures of 4-32 from 10 overs to help EWA dismiss Sri Lanka A for 186 in the 40th over.
The result now means EWA have now beaten both Australia A and Sri Lanka A twice on the tour so far.
Four out of four wins for the Academy girls looking forward to a rest day tomorrow to see some more of this beautiful country
