Pakistan chose to bat v New Zealand
Pakistan have chosen to bat in the third T20I against New Zealand. With the series already wrapped up, Pakistan have rested Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali, in the process handing a debut to Waqas Maqsood on his 31st birthday. Usman Khan also came into the side with Pakistan looking to win their ninth T20I on the trot.
New Zealand, who have lost their last five in the format, also made three changes, with Mark Chapman, Seth Rance and Lockie Ferguson all featuring in place of Adam Milne, Ajaz Patel and Corey Anderson. Anderson’s omission was a forced change, with Kane Williamson revealing at the toss that the allrounder had a heel injury.
This is the last of three T20Is before the sides begin a three-match ODI series on Wednesday.
