Queensland 8 for 326 (Renshaw 112, Heazlett 59, Winter 3-79) v South Australia
Scorecard
Matt Renshaw‘s second century in as many matches helped rescue Queensland from a precarious position early on day one of the clash against South Australia at Adelaide Oval.
The Bulls slumped to 3 for 59 after being sent into bat as South Australia’s Daniel Worrall and Joe Mennie made early breakthroughs. But Renshaw and Sam Heazlett continued the form they displayed against Victoria last week with a 142-run stand.
Renshaw reached his hundred off just 130 balls. The Bulls looked to be building a big platform but Nick Winter continued his outstanding run with the ball, removing both Renshaw and Heazlett in quick succession.
The Bulls got solid contributions down the order from Jack Wildermuth, Jimmy Peirson and Michael Neser to leave the game evenly poised at stumps.
