A thunderstorm and a Mahmudullah squall came in India’s way, but stable batting gave them an eight-wicket win and a sixth Asia Cup title. In the rain delayed 15-overs a side final in Mirpur, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli set it up for MS Dhoni to finish with a flourish, as they expertly chased down a target of 121 with seven balls to spare.
