Defiant Perera holds off India's charge

A resourceful, unbeaten 90 from Dilruwan Perera kept India’s bowlers waiting as Sri Lanka went to lunch eight down and trailing by 311 on the third day of the Galle Test. Showing a far more proactive approach against the spinners than on the second afternoon, Sri Lanka scored 135 runs in the session, at just over four an over.
