Rain took the attention away from the state of the outfield at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground on Day 3 of the one-off Test between Afghanistan and New Zealand, as play was called off as early as 9.15am local time. With the first two days of the Test already abandoned, the chances of a result are extremely thin.
The last time the first three days of a Test were abandoned was in 2008, which also included New Zealand, with Bangladesh being the opposition in Mirpur.
