Talukdar, Mrittunjoy debut as Bangladesh are put in to bat

Toss Ireland won the toss and chose to bowl against Bangladesh

Ireland captain Andy Balbirnie decided to bowl first after winning the toss in the third ODI against Bangladesh in Chelmsford. Balblirnie chose to bowl first in the first ODI while Tamim Iqbal did the same in the second ODI when he won the toss.

The visitors are without Shakib Al Hasan, who suffered a finger injury during the second ODI on Friday. Shakib tried to grab the ball awkwardly when George Dockrell hit one towards him at cover. Shakib batted later in the match, but on Saturday he was ruled out.
The home side picked Craig Young instead of Graham Hume, who went for 57 runs in six overs on Friday, while the visitors have two debutants among their three changes. Mrittunjoy Chowdhury, the left-arm fast bowler, debuts in place of Shoriful Islam, while Mustafizur Rahman takes Taijul Islam’s place.
Rony Talukdar makes his ODI debut in Shakib’s place, although it is not yet clear where he will bat in the line-up.
