Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul will return to India’s squads for the Test and ODI series in Bangladesh in December, after taking a break from the tour of New Zealand in November that immediately follows the conclusion of the 2022 T20 World Cup.
Jasprit Bumrah, who missed the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia because of a back injury, was not selected in the squads for the tours of New Zealand and Bangladesh.
Ajinkya Rahane and Hanuma Vihari have been dropped from the squad for the two-Test series, which is part of the ICC World Test Championship.
India begin the tour of Bangladesh with three ODIs in Mirpur on December 4, 7 and 10, after which they play two Tests in Chattogram (December 14-18) and Mirpur (December 22-26).
