Unchanged Ireland bat; Sri Lanka bring in Bandara for injured Nissanka

Toss Ireland opted to bat vs Sri Lanka

Ireland won the toss and chose to bat on a bright afternoon in Hobart, despite having won two matches in the previous round while chasing. They are unchanged from the XI that thumped West Indies on Friday.
Sri Lanka, meanwhile, have been forced to make a change to their top order, with Pathum Nissanka out of this match with injury. Ashen Bandara comes in to replace him, and with Danushka Gunathilaka also out, Sri Lanka may be forced to shuffle their top order.

The attack remains unchanged, however, with Lahiru Kumara, Binura Fernando, and Chamika Karunaratne making up the main pace options, while Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, and Dhananjaya de Silva are the spinners.

Ireland: 1 Paul Stirling, 2 Andy Balbirnie (capt), 3 Lorcan Tucker (wk), 4 Harry Tector, 5 Curtis Campher, 6 George Dockrell, 7 Gareth Delany, 8 Mark Adair, 9 Simi Singh, 10 Barry McCarthy, 11 Josh Little

Sri Lanka: 1 Kusal Mendis (wk), 2 Dhananjaya de Silva, 3 Charith Asalanka, 4 Ashen Bandara, 5 Bhanuka Rajapaksa, 6 Dasun Shanaka (capt), 7 Wanindu Hasaranga, 8 Chamika Karunaratne, 9 Maheesh Theekshana, 10 Binura Fernando, 11 Lahiru Kumara
