Najmul Hossain Shanto lost his place in Bangladesh’s ODI squad for the first two matches of their three-match series against Sri Lanka. Shakib Al Hasan is the only inclusion to the side that played against New Zealand in March, which he missed through a thigh injury.
Al Amin Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Rubel Hossain, Mohammad Naim and Nasum Ahmed were also dropped from the New Zealand-bound squad that was picked for both the ODIs and T20Is.
