CSK bowl, Behrendorff, Rahul Chahar, Mohit to play

Toss Chennai Super Kings Mumbai Indians chose to bat/bowl v Chennai Super Kings Mumbai Indians

Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to bowl first against Mumbai Indians, expecting a little help from the Wankhede Stadium surface in Mumbai.

For the third time in four matches, Super Kings have opted to field only three overseas players – this time dropping left-arm spin bowling allrounder Mitchell Santner for local seam bowler Mohit Sharma. Apart from that change, they field the same side that defeated Rajasthan Royals on Sunday.

Mumbai, meanwhile, have made two changes to their attack. They have swapped legspinners, bringing in Rahul Chahar for Mayank Markande, who is ill, and have also switched out their left-arm quicks, omitting Mitchell McClenaghan in favour of Jason Behrendorff. This will be the first IPL match for both Behrendorff and Rahul Chahar, while this is Mohit’s first game of the 2019 season.

Super Kings are unbeaten in their three matches so far. Mumbai have lost twice and won once.
