Shaun Tait suggests Mumbai make one change for a possibly make-or-break game against Kolkata Knight Riders: Mustafizur Rahman for Mitchell McClenaghan
Dinesh Karthik, the Kolkata Knight Riders captain, has chosen to bowl first in the afternoon match against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. The pitch had a tinge of grass on it before the start of play, and can be expected to help the ball come onto the bat through the game.
Knight Riders made two changes to the side that beat Chennai Super Kings on Thursday. Nitish Rana came back after recovering from the back spasms that kept him out of that game, replacing Rinku Singh in the middle order, while a finger injury to Shivam Mavi gave the Karnataka seamer Prasidh Krishna the opportunity to make his IPL debut.
Mumbai made no changes to the XI that beat Kings XI Punjab on Friday.
With only three wins from nine games so far, this is close to being a must-win game for Mumbai, while Knight Riders, who have five wins in nine games, will want to firm up their place in the top four and push for a move into the top two.
Mumbai Indians: 1 Suryakumar Yadav, 2 Evin Lewis, 3 Ishan Kishan (wk), 4 Rohit Sharma (capt), 5 Hardik Pandya, 6 JP Duminy, 7 Krunal Pandya, 8 Ben Cutting, 9 Mitchell McClenaghan, 10 Mayank Markande, 11 Jasprit Bumrah
Kolkata Knight Riders: 1 Chris Lynn, 2 Sunil Narine, 3 Robin Uthappa, 4 Shubman Gill, 5 Nitish Rana, 6 Dinesh Karthik (capt & wk), 7 Andre Russell, 8 Piyush Chawla, 9 Mitchell Johnson, 10 Kuldeep Yadav, 11 Prasidh Krishna
