Ajit Agarkar and Shaun Tait pick their XIs for RCB and Mumbai Indians (5:17)
Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma cited dew and opted to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore. He was forced to make a change with Evin Lewis ruled out of the match because of a wrist injury and Kieron Pollard was brought back, having missed the game against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday.
Royal Challengers captain Virat Kohli had to field an XI without AB de Villiers again because of illness. They did make one change, however, bringing in allrounder Washington Sundar for legspinner M Ashwin. Kohli said he would have decided to bowl first too, as it was a “difficult ground to defend”.
Both teams have won two of their seven matches so far but Mumbai are a place above Royal Challengers because of a positive net run rate compared to the hosts’ -0.447. Mumbai had beaten Royal Challengers in the first leg of their contest, when Rohit scored 94 off 52 balls in their first win of the tournament.
