Royal Challengers Bangalore chose to bowl v Mumbai Indians
Live scorecard and ball-by-ball details
Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma lost his fourth toss in four games this season as Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli elected to bowl on a ground he said scores were tough to defend. Kohli also said the dampness of the pitch and the cloud cover influenced his decision.
Mumbai are yet to win a game this season but they chose to stick with their core line-up, making the solitary change to bring left-arm quick Mitchell McClenaghan in place of spinner Akila Dananjaya. Royal Challengers were more radical with their team, making three changes. Corey Anderson replaced Brendon McCullum while Mohammed Siraj was handed his first game of the season at the expense of Kulwant Khejroliya. Royal Challengers also replaced left-arm spinner Pawan Negi with Sarfaraz Khan, a move that suggested Kohli might return to the opening spot.
