Toss Delhi Daredevils chose to bowl v Rajasthan Royals

Gautam Gambhir, the Delhi Daredevils captain, was mindful of dew as he chose to bowl in IPL’s return to Jaipur for the first time since 2013.

Australia allrounder Glenn Maxwell, who missed the tournament opener and arrived in India only on Monday, slotted in to the Daredevils XI at the expense of allrounder Dan Christian. Legspinner Amit Mishra, who conceded 46 off his four overs on Sunday, was replaced by left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem.

Rajasthan Royals did not make any changes despite losing heavily to Sunrisers Hyderabad. They continued to play three frontline seam bowlers in Dhawal Kulkarni, Jaydev Unadkat and Ben Laughlin, along with spinners K Gowtham and Shreyas Gopal.

Royals, who have won each of their last six matches against Daredevils, have the best win-loss ratio at home in the IPL. In Jaipur, they have won 77.73% of their matches.
