Boult four-for helps New Zealand extend advantage

New Zealand 373 (Raval 84, de Grandhomme 58, Roach 3-58) and 0 for 0 lead West Indies 221 (Brathwaite 66, Dowrich 35, Boult 4-73) by 152 runs
Live scorecard and ball-by-ball details

New Zealand required only three overs to wipe out West Indies’ two remaining wickets, and establish a 152-run first-innings lead. It was Trent Boult who claimed the two tail-end wickets off successive balls. Both wicket-taking deliveries would have challenged even the best batsmen, as they seamed sharply to beat the bat and crash into the stumps – Miguel Cummins made to seem especially clueless with the bat, as the ball beat his outside edge before thundering into off stump.

Those wickets gave Boult the best figures of the innings, his analysis now showing 4 for 73.
