Kings XI bowl, Nabi debuts for Sunrisers

Glenn Maxwell, the Kings XI Punjab captain, has chosen to bowl first against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Both teams come into this match with identical records, having won their first two games of the season, at home, and lost their next two, away.

Sunrisers made three changes to their XI, handing an IPL debut to Mohammad Nabi, the Afghanistan spin-bowling allrounder, and bringing in seamers Barinder Sran and Siddarth Kaul for their first games of the season. They replaced Ben Cutting, Ashish Nehra and Bipul Sharma.

With both Nabi and Rashid Khan in their side, Sunrisers became the first IPL team to field two Associate players in the same XI.

Kings XI only made the one change, replacing Varun Aaron with Ishant Sharma.
