Gautam Gambhir‘s 44-ball 61 set up Delhi‘s five-wicket win over Haryana in Dharamsala. Gambhir controlled most of Delhi’s chase after they were set 115, striking 11 fours in his knock before falling with the side nine runs away from victory. Earlier, Haryana had a modest performance with the bat as they put on 114 for 7. While their batsmen got starts, no one could carry on and score a half-century. Pradeep Sangwan was the best bowler for Delhi with 2 for 21, while the rest of the attack took at least one wicket each.

For the second successive day, Jammu & Kashmir defended a modest target to set up a win. On Tuesday, they had defended 127 against Punjab; on Wednesday, Umar Nazir, Deepak Dogra, Manik Gupta and Manzoor Dar took two wickets each to limit Himachal Pradesh to 105 for 9 and seal an 18-run win. HP were comfortably placed at 82 for 2 in the 15th over before Gupta struck twice in the over with his legspin. In the next over, the dismissal of a set Paras Dogra buoyed J&K, who took three wickets, including a run-out in the final over. Dar, who made his T20 debut earlier in the month, had also scored a crucial 34 at No. 8 earlier, lifting Jammu & Kashmir to 123 from a precarious 44 for 6 in the tenth over.
