England fast bowler Stuart Broad is to have a scan on his right foot after feeling more pain during the second day’s play in Visakhapatnam.

Broad left the field on the first day complaining of discomfort in both his wrist and foot. While the wrist issue was simply a cut that is considered more an irritation than a injury, the foot problem is more of a concern.

Broad managed only 36 overs during the Test tour of India in 2012 after sustaining a foot injury. The results of the scan are not likely to be known until Saturday.
