Sri Lanka target positive end to dismal tour
Kane Williamson chose to bowl first after winning the toss for the second T20I, in Auckland.
Sri Lanka made three changes to the side that lost in Mount Maunganui. Seamers Nuwan Kulasekara and Suranga Lakmal were left out. Left-arm seamer Isuru Udana and fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera were picked in stead. Kithuruwan Vithanage came in for Chamara Kapugedara in the lower order.
New Zealand meanwhile, chose to field the two members of their 13-man squad that did not play on Thursday. Adam Milne played in place of Matt Henry, and left-arm spinning allrounder Mitchell Santner replaced legspinner Ish Sodhi.
The weather was expected to remain cloudy but dry for the duration of the encounter. New Zealand lead the two-match series 1-0.
