Players including Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan posted their take on the Australian summer. While the Test captain seemed to be enjoying “sunny” Perth, Dhawan didn’t quite echo his Delhi teammates feelings. (Twenty20 Series in Australia Good for India Ahead of World Cup: Mahendra Singh Dhoni)

Dhawan, who has been woefully short of form and in some dire need of runs, seemed to be connecting well with the ball – something that would please the left-hander. The Indian opener managed just 126 runs in five matches against South Africa in the recent ODI series at an average of 25.20.

The Indians, meanwhile, kickstart their tour Down Under with the first ODI at the WACA on January 12, Perth, but before that play two tour matches at the same venue on January 8, 9.
Indians have played 13 one-day matches in Perth — winning six, losing six and tying one. They are yet to play a Twenty20 at the famous venue, known for its fast and bouncy nature of the pitch.
India’s tour of Australia will see them play five ODIs and three Twenty20s.
