
England have finally declared the final squad for the white-ball tour to Sri Lanka. The series, which includes three ODIs and three T20Is, will find Harry Brook leading the England side. Jofra Archer is the only man to join England for the T20 World Cup squad.
The England selection panel has finally announced the squad for the upcoming tour to Sri Lanka. England will be arriving to adapt to the subcontinent conditions through a 6-match white ball series. The series includes three ODIs from the 22nd of January and will be followed by three T20Is from the 30th of January.
The series ends on the 3rd of February, just days before the start of the T20 World Cup. England will kick off their T20 World Cup campaign on the 8th of February at the Wankhede Stadium against Nepal.
England’s Men’s ODI Squad for the Sri Lanka tour
Harry Brook will be leading England’s contingent as the skipper of the side. This will be his first outing in an ICC tournament as the captain of the side. Jofra Archer, who was injured during the Ashes, will join England directly for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
Zak Crawley and Joe Root are among the players from England’s Test squad who will return after the ODI series and are not part of the T20Is.

England’s Men’s T20I Squad for the Sri Lanka tour
The team that features in the ICC T20 World Cup is the same as the team playing these T20Is in Sri Lanka, except for Jofra Archer, who joins the England squad, replacing Brydon Carse, before the T20 World Cup.
The likes of Sam Curran and Will Jacks have made it to the team, while Tom Banton will play his maiden T20I World Cup.
