
A scary moment unfolded at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Friday (December 26) when young Mumbai batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi suffered a serious head injury during the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 clash against Uttarakhand.
The 21-year-old was fielding at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium when the incident unfolded, leaving the entire stadium stunned and worried for the youngster. The scariest thing was that Raghuvanshi was unable to get up and needed immediate medical attention immediately on the field.

As reported by the Times of India, the Mumbai batter was stretchered off the field straight away as players gathered around in concern. Soon after, Raghuvanshi was taken to a nearby hospital in Jaipur for the medical checks. Given the nature of the injury, doctors decided to keep him under observation to assess the impact and ensure there were no serious complications.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi went for a difficult catch and ended up injuring his head and shoulder. He was rushed to the hospital as an emergency and had to be taken off the field on a stretcher.

Raghuvanshi, who is also part of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) setup in the IPL, had earlier scored 11 runs off 20 balls as Mumbai posted a massive total of 331/7 against Uttarakhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 clash at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
