Vaibhav Suryavanshi involved in ugly fight with Ali Raza after failure in India vs Pakistan U19 Asia Cup final

Drama boiled over in the U19 Asia Cup final between India and Pakistan as Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ali Raza were involved in an ugly fight at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Sunday, December 21.

On the fifth over of India’s chase, Pakistan bowler Ali Raza bowled a short ball that was slightly angled across Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The 14-year-old tried to hit the rising ball in the air despite not having space to adjust his shot. The ball hit the edge of his bat and went up in the air.

Hamza Zahoor was in the right position as he took a stunning catch above his head. Suryavanshi made a big blunder and left his team in a tough spot as he walked back to the pavilion after scoring 26 runs from 10 balls, hitting one four and three sixes against Pakistan.

The frustration was clear, and the tension exploded on the field immediately after his dismissal. Raza celebrated the big wicket with full intensity, getting right up in Suryavanshi’s face.

The Indian batting sensation was clearly fired up and couldn’t hold back his emotions. Suryavanshi seemed to gesture toward his feet while glaring at Raza as he walked back to the dugout.
