Ricky Ponting is in awe after Cameron Green draws an insane bid in the mini-auction

After the Australian all-rounder went on to surpass Mitchell Starc to be the costliest overseas player in the history of the league, former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting made a hilarious remark on the player’s auction price.

Ponting himself is part of the IPL with the Punjab Kings; however, considering his duties as a commentator in the Ashes, he has not been able to make it to Abu Dhabi for the mini-auction.

“Over 25 crores, we are hearing, which is I don’t know exactly….but it’s a lot of money,” said Ponting while he giggled. Approximately the amount ranges to 2.8 million USD and nearly 4.2 million Australian dollars (AUD).
