The Indian Premier League (IPL) trade window has delivered the biggest shock, with Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav swapping franchises in a blockbuster deal between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Tuesday, June 23.
LSG sacrifice Rishabh Pant, secure Kuldeep Yadav in blockbuster IPL move
Pant has returned to Delhi Capitals for INR 15 crore, while Lucknow Super Giants have acquired star spinner Kuldeep Yadav for INR 13.5 crore. Pant’s revised fees is much lower than what he got in the 2025 mega auction from the Lucknow Super Giants.
Kuldeep has been one of the most reliable performers in the IPL over the last few years, and LSG will be hoping that his wicket-taking ability strengthens their bowling attack. Read more about other blockbuster trade involving Hardik Pandya.
