
The civil unrest in Belfast has put the upcoming Ireland vs India T20I series in doubt. On Sunday, amid BCCI’s squad announcement for the ODIs against England during the United Kingdom tour, Cricbuzz shares an update on India’s T20Is against Ireland.
According to the post, amid the tensions in Belfast, the bilateral series will be underway as per the schedule. Cricket Ireland also informed about their stance ahead of the series. The cricket board has informed that the series will run as per the original schedule, as they have reviewed the current situation.
Cricket Ireland has assured about the series vs India
“Following a comprehensive review of the current security environment in Belfast, Cricket Ireland can confirm that both Ireland v India T20 International matches at Stormont on 26 and 28 June will proceed as planned,” the cricket board wrote in the official website on June 18.
