USA T20 World Cup squad announced; Aaron Jones snubbed, Monank Patel to lead

The United States (USA) have announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026, which will be played in India and Sri Lanka from February 7. The USA picked 10 players from their 2024 T20 World Cup squad for the upcoming edition.

Monank Patel has been named captain for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026. This will be the USA’s second appearance at the ICC T20 World Cup, having shocked many by reaching the Super 8 stage in their very first World Cup in 2024 at home and in the Caribbean.

Monank Patel (C), Jessy Singh, Andries Gous, Shehan Jayasuriya, Milind Kumar, Shayan Jahangir, Saiteja Mukkamala, Shadley Van Schalkwyk, Saurabh Netravalkar, Ali Khan, Sanjay Krishnamurthi, Harmeet Singh, Nosthush Kenjige, Mohammad Mohsin, Shubham Ranjane.
